CORONAVIRUS GUIDELINES - OLSEN COTTAGE Although holiday accommodation has long re-opened in England, we are continuing to apply the following guidance for the time being. We have updated our information and guidance for guests visiting Olsen Cottage, and regularly review these guidelines and do our best to ensure that you can have a worry-free holiday. As a result of our Covid Risk Assessment, we have introduced the following further steps to provide extra hygiene in the cottage and provide additional protection for our guests. ● Allowing additional time for the cleaning to take place. This does mean that we need to ask our guests to arrive later (not before 4 pm), and depart earlier (by 10 am at the latest). ● We are introducing new arrangements for visitors to collect the key for the cottage. We will advise guests how to collect the key a couple of days before they arrive. ● Bedding. We ask visitors to Olsen Cottage to bring their own bedlinen and towels. We will provide duvets, pillows and mattress protectors. ● De-clutter. We have removed certain high-risk items from the cottage, such as some board games and unnecessary soft furnishings like throws and scatter cushions. ● Our extra hygiene measures include cleaning and disinfecting high contact areas of the cottage, such as door and window handles, switches and knobs, bannister rails and remote controls. Extra soap dispensers and antibacterials will be provided for your use, to help ensure you can maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Washing your hands each time you enter or leave the cottage is recommended. ● Health and Safety. Please remember to follow the latest Government guidelines on social distancing during your stay, and on any maximum number of households that can be together in an indoor setting. ● If you or any member of your party start to develop Coronavirus symptoms before or during your holiday it is important that you contact us right away to let us know.
